How Succulent Seafood was born
Beginning his professional journey in the culinary field, John O'Connell embarked on his career as a chef at an early age in Long Island, New York. He dedicated his efforts to his family's seafood restaurant during this time. Meanwhile, John motivated by his experiences, opened and managed numerous retail seafood markets in the Midwest. Drawing from his wealth of knowledge, he ultimately decided to launch his seafood market. Leveraging his understanding of the thriving East Coast fresh seafood market in 1998, John strategically curated an inventory sourced exclusively from the finest suppliers, ensuring utmost freshness. In 2000 due to customer request, John provided pre-made meals to go.
